I purchased the sham wow towels for the sole purpose of cleaning up spills and spots on the carpet. I have not tried to dry my car, fine crystal, clean the shower, etc.

I have to say, for my purposes, I have yet to find a towel that so nicely soaks up all the moisture in the carpet an...d just completely lifts up stains in the process. It's more than worth the money for that alone. I will definitely buy more of these.Read more Less

I have had no problem using the product. I did wash it first. It picks up spills just great. No messy dripping. I used it with no problem on my truck. It is worth the cost. Less

I bought a set of ShamWow after seeing a live demonstration at the Austin Boat Show. I've been totally happy with mine - works a heck of a lot better than towels or rags for cleaning up wet messes. We have three dogs in the house, who, despite being house-broken, still occasionally have accidents. Less

This product cannot be machine washed, or machine dried. it must be wet to work. sounds strange? you know those super-absorbent crystals gardeners use to hold more water in the soil? same type of technology. You can't rub a dry shamwow on a counter and expect it to pick up the water. take a wet sham...wow and rub it against the same wet surface. what do you know, it works! people wouldn't buy this product without all the hype, unfortuately they're not willing to learn how it actually works. it actually needs to be wet before you can use it to soak up stains and water, otherwise it is just 'too dry'. Have you ever poured water on bone-dry dirt? it isn't absorbed, it is actually repelled. But, if the dirt is moist, it will absorb water. same concept here!!!! Nothing is perfect, but shamwow deserves four star, come on.Read more Less

I only got this to see if it really worked. It had impresive soak up ability but it doesn't dry a spot very well. I got a little silly and measured how much water one of the big ones would hold and found it held 2 cups!! It did drip but that was not really a surprise. DO NOT DRY THEM IN DRYER! Less
