we bought two and I've had no problems with it, the cardboard is heavy and the plastic is thick enough that I've actually fit 13 and not 12 pair of shoes into them by doubling up a bit - we have 3 cats and had our shoes tossed under the bed and they were gathering dust and fur and we needed a dust-f...ree place to store our shoes where we could easily access them. I recently purchased several shoe organizers and although they serve the purpose I was expecting a little better quality. It would make it easier to store these under the bed if they were made of something a bit sturdier. When you shove them under the bed they bunch up causing it to be more work tha...n necessary.

I am fine with the cardboard inserts because they are probably easy to disassemble if we ever want to do so. I like the handles on the two ends of the organizer to pull it out from under the bed; and yes the zippers are a bit flimsy but I've been opening and closing the organizer and have not had a ...problem.
