I just purchased this steam cleaner a few weeks ago and thus far I absolutely love it. Admittedly I haven't been excited about cleaning tool purchases in the past, but I was very eager to receive this steamer after I ordered it. This is a good sweeper for touchup sweeping.
We had the interior of our house redone recently and this is great for touchup vaccumming when dragging the big vac out isnt neccessary.
We have both carpeted and bare floors and this works good on all of them. Less

We just moved into a new home and have 2100 sq. ft. of distressed hardwood floors, lots of grooves and little pockets for dirt to collect, plus we have a cat. I was going crazy hauling around a vacuum everyday, but a broom wasn't effective on this type of floor. Thanks to other reviews I bought the ...Shark VX3 and love it! I used this for the first time last night, and was very happy with the performance.
My house is under construction and currently only one room has carpet (my baby's room) My vacuum broke this weekend, and I didn't want to shell out the big money for a new one before the holidays just to clean... one room. So I got the Shark cordless carpet sweeper to get me through until I really needed to get a vacuum. This worked great! It picked up all of the dust on the carpet, as well as cat hair. If my whole house was carpeted it would never do for my only cleaning device, but for quick pick ups it's amazing. Light weight, fairly quiet, and easy to use. I bought this little sweeper about 7 months ago from Wal-mart. It was solely for our camper, which has both carpet and tile floor. It has been a very helpful purchase. I have a young son whose still crawling, and on a recent two-week vacation in the camper, I would use this every day, sometimes twic...e a day. It picks up everything, light dirt that you can't see, and larger things, like Cheerios or cracker crumbs.

My only concern is battery power. It could just be that I never noticed it before since I wasn't using it as often, but it seems like the battery charge holds for less and less time. It's not a terrible thing since it's only being used in an RV, but I was thinking about getting another one for my house, to use between vacuums, however I may hold off.

Overall, I recommend this, but keep in mind I don't use it everyday. It works great for what I purchased it for, but someone looking to use this more frequently may want to hold off, or get something a little sturdier.Read more Less
